" Through her passion for antique European cookie molds, New Mexico artist Debbie Kerwick began her art of creating paper castings replicating these historic images. Debbie grew up in a German community in St. Louis, Missouri. At an early age, she was impressed by the beautiful Springerle cookies her grandmother served at Christmas time; a centuries old tradition.
