Debbie Kerwick, Santa Fe paper artist creates these unique cards. This paper casting is made from an exact replica of a European cookie mold. These wooden molds, some carved hundreds of years ago, were used to make traditional cookies that were given as tokens of love, for telling stories or celebration of special events. Handmade paper is pressed into each mold, air dried overnight then strung and beaded. Each step of this process is completed one casting at a time, such that no two castings are exactly alike.
